Made my Day/Career Moment by Charles Wells

Book endorsements by special (and famous) people is the epitome of a writer's career. My epitome has arrived in the name of Terry Irving. I'm sure the name sounds familar and we'll get to that in a moment. First, here are the words he had to say about my book series, "Whispering Pines."

by Terry Irving: (Bio follows)

Charles Wells was one of the pioneers of online content (although I do believe that the Daily Imus Online was the FIRST newsblog) and it doesn’t surprise me that he has written such engaging novels.

As a direct result of my decision to feature his work on the air, I have been blacklisted by every national news network am now reduced to producing personal finance programs and writing online tips for the Selective Service in a converted toolshed housed on a content plantation just outside Frederick Maryland.

“Whispering Pines” appears to be a solid and engaging series which clearly rises from deep wells of mystery (and misery) in Mr. Wells’ soul which can be directly linked to the fact that he spent so many years listening to four hours of the Don Imus program every weekday. In addition, his immersion in the world of the rural South can be traced to a single crazed cab ride through Manhattan during which he and his lovely wife became convinced that people in the North just built buildings that were too darn big – a fear that was borne out during his time online moderating the events of 9-11. I suggest you buy and read all his works – one day they will rank among such masterworks as “God’s Other Son” and “The Collected Works of Charles McCord”.

At that point, your grandchildren will be able to sell them at a profit.

Rob is a commedian and actor (Law and Order) seen on the Don Imus show often.

I once invited Rob to Georgia for a turkey shoot. He showed up and managed to shoot his very first bird ever. The patrons in the frozen food section of Kroger still talk about the maniac. He's a legend!
